Julien Cestac est chercheur en psychologie sociale. Il s’intéresse principalement à l’effet des valeurs personnelles et culturelles sur les comportements, en particulier les comportements liés aux risques. Julien Cestac développe des travaux de recherche sur trois thématiques principales : une approche inter culturelle du risque et du rapport à la règle, l’étude des comportements à risque et de protection notamment chez les jeunes, l’évaluation des politiques publiques et des innovations en matière de prévention des risques.

Julien Cestac is a researcher in Social Psychology. His central research interest is the influence of personal and cultural values on behaviours, more specifically on risky behaviours. Julien Cestac works are related to three main topics: cross-cultural approach to the study of risk and conformity with rules, study of risk-taking motivations among teenagers and young adults, assessment of public policies’ efficacy and innovations in risk prevention.
